TV Exec Garth Ancier -- I Didn't Rape That Kid
Garth Ancier -- who produced and/or developed an endless list of TV shows like "21 Jump Street," "Married ... with Children," "The Simpsons" and "In Living Color" -- adamantly denies laying a finger on the man who claims Ancier raped him as a boy. Ancier's attorney tells TMZ, "All of the allegations made by [ Michael Egan ] against Garth Ancier are demonstrably untrue, and we are confident the courts will agree when the evidence is presented." As reported, Egan has sued Ancier -- as well as "X-Men" director Bryan Singer and showbiz honchos David Neuman and Gary Goddard -- claiming they sexually abused him as a 15-year-old at various Hollywood parties.

Iraq Premier: "No" To US Ground Troops
Iraq's new prime minister ruled out stationing U-S ground troops in his country, chiding the international community Wednesday for inaction in Syria... Haider al-Abadi told the Associated Press the exclusion of neighboring Iran from the coalition being assembled to fight the Islamic State group was "puzzling." U.S. House Passes Bill To Avert Government Shutdown, Extend Export-Import Bank
The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday approved a stop-gap spending measure that averts an Oct. 1 government shutdown and extends the U.S. Export-Import Bank's ability to operate for another nine months. The measure, passed with bipartisan support, also contains a separately approved authorization for the Defense Department to train and arm moderate Syrian rebels to fight Islamic State militants. The bill, which now moves to the Senate for consideration on Thursday, extends current funding levels for discretionary government programs and agencies through Dec. 16.

Another NFL Player Arrested For Domestic Violence
Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer was reportedly arrested for domestic violence after an alleged altercation with his wife at their home in Phoenix. CBS News reports the 25 year old NFL player is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault and preventing someone from calling 9-1-1. Of course, it's just the latest in a string of domestic violence arrests involving NFL players ... including former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice, Greg Hardy, Ray McDonald and NY Jets rookie Quincy Enunwa.

NYSE Preps For What Could Be World's Biggest IPO
The New York Stock Exchange says it will hold an industry conference call in advance of the possibly historic initial public offering by Alibaba Group Holding Limited. The call will begin at 8:30 a.m. EDT on Friday and is for members of the trading, technology and operations segments of the industry. Alibaba's IPO, potentially the world's largest ever, is scheduled to price Thursday night. The stock is expected to fetch from 66 to 68 dollars per share.
