    Vizio prepares for the holidays with new Windows 8 notebooks and All-in-Ones

    Vizio on Thursday announced a variety of Windows 8 PCs and laptops that will be available in time for the holiday season. The company’s new all-in-one PC features a full HD 1080p 10-finger touchscreen display, 500GB hard drive and a built-in 2.1 audio system with a subwoofer, and it will be available in both 24-inch and 27-inch models. Vizio also announced a 14-inch and 15.6-inch Ultrabook and a 15.6-inch full HD notebook. All of the company’s computers are powered by Intel’s (INTC) third-generation processors, known as Ivy Bridge, and Windows 8. The Ultrabooks will be available in October starting at $849, while the all-in-one touch PCs will start at $998 and the full HD notebook can be had for $1,129. Vizio’s press release follows below.
