Just days before Nov. 6, Yahoo! asked voters to reveal which candidate they're backing -- Barack Obama or Mitt Romney or another candidate -- and, briefly, why. Here are one voter's thoughts.
Back in 2008, the United States had come to a dead stop. Experts said conditions were right for another Great Depression, with unemployment numbers north of 25 percent.
That didn't happen. When Obama was elected, he started rolling. He went to work rebuilding the underpinnings of prosperity: education, clean energy, health care coverage for everyone, and peace.
Four years later, things are getting better. Unemployment is down, the auto industry is making profits, and wars are ending.
The other guy? He wants to cut taxes (especially for the wealthy), raise military spending, and put more effort into dirty energy. Didn't we try that already?
I think I'll vote to keep rolling forward.
