Walmart and Best Buy have killer smartphone trade-in deals you won’t be able to resist
Black Friday is typically when we find awesome prices on new gadgets but it’s also a good time to trade in your old gadgets too. Both Walmart and Best Buy are offering you killer deals for anyone who wants to trade in their old smartphones this week and they’re going to be very hard for any smartphone user to resist.

In the case of Best Buy, as you can see in this ad, you can get a minimum $100 gift card for trading in any working iPhone. By by “any working iPhone,” we literally mean any — Best Buy will give you a gift card worth at least $100 even if you trade in an ancient first-generation iPhone or an iPhone 3G.
And the best part is you can use the gift card to go toward anything you want to buy in Best Buy — you don’t have to get a new iPhone or sign any kind of carrier contract. The deal lasts between now and November 29th, however, so you’ll want to act fast.
Walmart, meanwhile, is offering eGift cards of up to $200 with any smartphone you trade in, although we imagine the value of this card varies greatly depending on the type and condition of the phone. Walmart is also offering $100 gift cards with the purchase of select Android phones.
