UPDATED, 6:30 PM: For those who just can’t wait to see what the old gang is up to, now you won’t have to wait quite as long. Warner Bros said today that has moved up the release date for the Entourage movie by a week to June 5. The adventures of Vincent, E, Drama, Turtle and Ari now will go up against the DreamWorks Animation pic B.O.O.: Bureau Of Otherworldly Operations instead of Universal’s tentpole Jurassic World.

PREVIOUSLY, February 25: Paul Thomas Anderson‘s next film Inherent Vice has been given a plum awards-season release date. Warner Bros said today that the pic starring Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Josh Brolin, Katherine Waterston and Jena Malone will come out December 12, 2014. The adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s 2009 detective novel will be Anderson’s first film since 2012’s The Master, which was nominated for three Oscars. The studio has spent the past week setting its release slate, especially for early 2015, finding spots for Man From U.N.C.L.E (January 16), Run All Night (February 6), Focus (February 27) and Get Hard (March 27).

As usual it will be a packed Oscar-bait weekend on December 12. That’s when Fox releases its Ridley Scott biblical epic Exodus, starring Christian Bale as Moses and Joel Edgerton as Egyptian pharaoh Ramses II. It’s also the date for Paddington, the live-action adaptation of the classic cartoon character from TWC-Dimension. Colin Firth voices the bear, and Nicole Kidman is an evil taxidermist out for revenge.

Meanwhile, the long-in-the-works Entourage movie will be released June 12, 2015 — four years after the HBO series on which it is based ended its run. All the castmembers are back for the feature, which kicked off production last week. Series creator Doug Ellin wrote the script, which he completed in September 2012, and is directing, with the action picking up six months after the series’ end.

Warner Bros also said The Intern will be released on September 25, 2015. That’s the Nancy Meyers comedy starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway that Warners acquired in November.
