    Waseem Saddique Talks About the Booming Brazilian Market and Housetech Construction

    Waseem Saddique is the founder and current acting CEO for Housetech Developments; a specialist real estate development company in Brazil. The primary focus of Housetech Developments is to build affordable homes to a high specification.

    After a series of business ventures, Waseem Saddique began investing money into the international property market setting up Housetech Developments in 2005. Waseem saw that prices were booming and Brazil was a hotspot.

    Since inception, Housetech Construction has grown at an accelerated rate. From construction through to development, Waseem’s team now prides itself on a portfolio of private, leisure and affordable residential developments.

    Waseem’s first project was the luxury residential Monte Carlo Residence, close to one of the best beaches in the world. This upmarket development consists of 12 apartments, 4 of which are two-bedroomed, 8 with three bedrooms as well as 4 duplex penthouses with 5 bedrooms each.

    Most recently Housetech has expanded into affordable homes to help overcome the housing shortage for the middle class sector.

    In 2009 the Federal Government launched the Minha Casa, Minha Visa (My house, My Life) campaign as a means of eliminating the inequality gap and housing deficit in Brazil. Since the campaign was launched we have shifted our focus from upmarket developments to focus on more affordable homes.

    With an initial governmental investment of over $64 BRL billion, 1 million houses are in the process of being built and allocated to families on a means tested basis with more expected.

    As the CEO for Housetech developments, Waseem Saddique establishes and directs the vision and mission of the team. Waseem is the source of visionary strength of Housetech Developments and keeps the company on an upward track.

    In his role, Waseem is responsible for directing the operational activities of the company by scheduling the utilisation of the company’s resources. He is also responsible for establishing and executing the company’s operating plan that is necessary to achieve the company’s objectives.

    Waseem ensures that the right people are placed in the right job assignments, and that people get further training to do their jobs if necessary.

    Waseem is currently in discussions with an engineering company that has been established for over 30 years, with a total of 47 projects completed to date and another four projects underway. Discussions are currently underway to take majority stake in this company, presenting high prospects for the future growth of Housetech.
