    Watch a 50-Mile Wide Dust Storm Devour Phoenix

    Now, we have a new reason to compare the Great Recession to the Great Depression: Steinbeck-style dust storms. Tuesday evening, a massive cloud of darkness known as a "habub" overtook Phoenix. The National Weather Service reports that the wall of dust towered 8,000 to 10,000 feet high before it hit the Phoenix valley, and local meteorologists estimated the storm to be about 50 miles wide when it struck the city.

    Environmentalists remind us that the conditions that create dust storms can be linked to climate change and poor farming practices. Today, the Earth is twice as dusty as it was in the 19th-century. At least we have YouTube and Twitpic to document the incredibly terrifying consequences?

    Phoenix residents woke up with a fine layer of dust coating everything. Literary types will remind us that John Steinbeck wrote about this in the chapter of The Grapes of Wrath:

    Houses were shut tight, and cloth wedged around doors and windows, but the dust came in so thinly that it could not be seen in the air, and it settled like pollen on the chairs and tables, on the dishes.

      This isn't a Dust Storm, its just a typical Phoenix Rainy Day.
      Yes you can tell there was an inch of dust on your car, so the weatherman was right.
      There is a Reason the Indians got the Hel Out of Phoenix 1,000 years ago. Its a stupid place to live.

      Modern day Mexicans are descendants of one of the lost tribes of Israel. The tribe of Issachar. Issachar literally means "man of hire". Thats one of the roles some Mexicans play in the U.S (Babylon?) today. Standing out in the corner waiting to be hired.

      "A number of people think that some of the Israelite tribes actually originated as part of the sea peoples.[3] Issachar may be one of these, since in Egyptian accounts there is a tribe of sea peoples named Shekelesh; Shekelesh is here believed to be composed from shekel-ish, meaning men of the shekel, a meaning synonymous with Issachar's man of hire"

      They were a seafaring people that could of potentially made their way to Mexico/Central America.

      From the Midrash " Issachar is a strong ass lying down between the sheepfolds: and he saw that settled life was good, and the land was pleasant; he put his shoulder to the burden, and became a slave under forced labour"

      Translation Mexicans saw this land to be good they settled and put their self to hold a heavy burden by almost willingly becoming a slave under forced labour to stay in this land.

      European scholars in the 15th and 16th century also noted of the similarities in culture, tradition, history, of the indigenous peoples of the New World. Look it up. Starting to make more sense.

      God is punishing Arizona for their harsh anti immigration laws by burning their land with wild fires and this sand storm. This storm looks like a plague unleashed by a god.
