Watch A$AP Ferg Surprise a Fan at Her Wedding with a Blessing
Weddings usually find people splashing out or doing something pretty spectacular for their significant other, but this might be one of the coolest examples we’ve ever seen. A copywriter from Sydney surprised his bride to be with a message from her favorite artist, A$AP Ferg. Filmed before his show later that day, the brief but sweet video blessing was filmed by Ferg’s tour videographer, even though the groom initially planned to film it on his phone.
He was performing in Sydney [at The Hi-Fi, back in May] and I just got in touch with his people to make the request, then they came back and said ‘We’ll arrange for you to put the idea to him and he may say no’. He put on a meet-and-greet where people got photos, and the tour manager arranged for me to hang back to ask, then he introduced us and I gave him my spiel. I was so surprised when he said ‘Yeah sure’, he was actually super down with it.
A video of both Ferg’s blessing and the bride’s reaction can be seen above, and like the groom says, “She was over the moon, she literally couldn’t believe it.” Read more about the gesture here.
