Watch Beyoncé Sing the National Anthem, Live, Then Own Up to Lip-Sync Scandal

Before answering her "haters," Beyoncé decided to address her Inauguration Day lip-syncing controversy by asking every everyone to stand at her Super Bowl press conference Thursday afternoon. She then proceeded the national anthem, a cappella, like a boss:

She finished, and then said, "Thank you guys so much. Any questions?"

And of course there were questions. The first asked her to explain her lip-syncing at President Obama's inauguration. She began by explaining that she's "a perfectionist," and after she did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra she "did not feel comfortable taking the risk."

"Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper soundcheck, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the president and the inauguration, and I wanted to make him and my country proud. So I decided to sing along with my prerecorded track which is very common in the music industry," she explained. "I'm very proud of my performance."

And then there was the question as to what she would do at the halftime show, which is under more intense scrutiny following the inauguration scandal. "I will absolutely be singing live," she said. "I am well-rehearsed. This is what I'm born to do." Beyoncé almost seemed to welcome the controversy: "I love haters," she said. "No shame. No hate."

As for whether or not she's going to be joined by Destiny's Child, she would not let slip whether or not her bandmates would be joining her.

To end the press conference a reporter from Denmark first asked Beyoncé to choose her question (she chose "B") and then asking her what color her toothbrush was.

"It's actually multicolored."
