Watch Drake Talk About Jordan Sneakers and Performing “As if I am ”

“Jumpman” isn’t just talk: Drake really loves Jordan, and he appeared in a video for the brand that was tweeted out earlier today.
Wearing a Jordan headband and smiling ear-to-ear, Drake spoke about his first pair of Jordan shoes—”Jordan 15’s in the white with the Carolina blue” his dad got him. Then he giddily talked about the swagger the shoes give him: “When me and all my guys are wearing Jordan, you know, we feel like a team. You just have that presence when you walk in the room. It doesn’t matter what we’re doing today, we just came to win.”
Like millions of kids who grew up in the 90s, Drake also tries to be like Michael Jordan as much as possible:
It can apply to anything, anyone’s life, you know. My life is to go out there and get on that stage, you know, act as if I am Mike. Act as if it is the playoffs. Act as if there is a championship trophy to be won. But when I’m walking through the tunnel, I have the same fire in my eyes.
