"This is one of the few times Lucasfilm has allowed for such use of the original material, and we feel the end result is creative, powerful, and most importantly a lot of fun for fans of both Angry Birds and Star Wars," Ville Heijari, vice president of franchise development at Rovio, told Mashable.
