Watch the First Teaser for The CW's Veronica Mars Spin-off Play It Again, Dick (VIDEO)
Look, it's a fact that women love Dick. And naturally I'm talking about Ryan Hansen's Veronica Mars alter ego Dick Casablancas, so get your mind out of the gutter, you perv. The fan-favorite character started out on the cult series as an extra with one line, but evolved over the course of three seasons and crowd-funded movie into a solid supporting player.
If there was ever a character who could carry his own spin-off, it would be Dick, which is why I'm so glad that Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas has partnered with The CW to produce Play It Again, Dick, a digital spin-off starring Hansen as he attempts to get a Dick-centered series off the ground.
Most of the original cast will return for the spin-off, in which they'll play fictional versions of themselves as well as fictional versions of their characters. Does that make sense? Cool, because CW Seed has released the first teaser, and it's full off catchphrases and motorcycles and all your typical Dick moves. Check it out below:
