Watch: First Teaser for Patrick Stewart’s Starz Comedy ‘Blunt Talk’
Starz has released the first teaser for Patrick Stewart’s new comedy “Blunt Talk.”
Stewart stars as eccentric British broadcast journalist Walter Blunt, who moves to Los Angeles to conquer the world of American cable news one talk show interview at a time.
The tagline “Some people toe the line, others walk the line. Walter Blunt will do a line” appears in the teaser against an outline of Stewart’s face.
Like another smallscreen Walter, Stewart’s character has a fondness for drugs.
The series, from executive producer Seth MacFarlane and creator Jonathan Ames, recently added Richard Lewis to its cast. The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” star will play Stewart’s therapist.
“Blunt Talk” premieres this summer on Starz.
