Watch: Kanye West Crashes Coachella With Surprise Set

Leave it to Kanye West to shake up Coachella.

The two-weekend music festival is no stranger to surprise guests, with West now joining the ranks of musicians to show up onstage unexpectedly. The rapper appeared during the Weeknd’s late Saturday night set, joining Abel Tesfaye as he performed a vocal-only cover to West’s hit “Heartless.”

West would go on to perform four songs in a short, but memorable, set: latest single “All Day,” “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” “Black Skinhead” off of “Yeezus” and his cover of Chief Keef’s “I Don’t Like.”

Rumors had previously swirled about West making a surprise appearance at Coachella, but he was largely expected to join Drake during his Sunday set instead. West last appeared at the music festival in 2011 as the festival closer.

Coachella will close Sunday night with Drake, who made headlines last weekend when Madonna hit the stage during his set to make out with him.
