Watch: Neil Patrick Harris’ First Oscar Promo
This Christmas, ABC gifted viewers the first promo for the Oscars.
Host Neil Patrick Harris has some sound advice for last-minute shoppers in the commercial.
“Instead of traditional presents, give (your family) the gift of simply telling them to watch me host the Oscars,” the “How I Met Your Mother” alum says.
The 87th annual Academy Awards will be held in Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre and air on ABC on February 22.
Harris has performed at the ceremony in the past, but will be hosting for the first time. He hosted the Tony Awards last year and the Emmys twice, in 2013 and 2009.
