WATCH: OHP trooper captures video of Osage County tornado

OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — An Oklahoma Highway Patrol officer captured the moment of a tornado on the ground Monday night in Osage County.

OHP posted the video to their social media page, that was taken by Trooper Landon Miller. The tornado can be seen during several lightning strikes throughout the video.

The tornado was traveling at about 60 mph moving from Barnsdall to Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has given the tornado a preliminary EF-4 rating as survey crews continue to assess the damage in Barnsdall and Bartlesville.

Around nine tornadoes have been accounted for so far, with one death, as survey crews continue to review the damaged areas and search and rescue continue to look for people, from yesterday’s storms.
