Watch: Shailene Woodley Takes on Kate Winslet in New ‘Insurgent’ Spot
Lionsgate has debuted a new “Insurgent” spot ahead of its TV premiere during Sunday’s Super Bowl pre-game coverage.
The 80-second spot begins with Shailene Woodley as Tris breaking free from tubes in slow motion, then smashing through glass to face off against Kate Winslet’s evil Jeanine amid a ruined future version of Chicago. But is it all an illusion?
“The Divergent Series: Insurgent” will open March 20. Theo James, Miles Teller, Zoe Kravitz and Ansel Elgort reprise their roles, with Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer added to the cast.
Robert Schwentke is the director, and he’s on board to direct the next film in the franchise, “Allegiant: Part 1.”
