What to Watch Tonight: Arrow Travels to Nanda Parbat, The Goldbergs Channels Ferris Bueller, and Survivor and The Amazing Race Begin Anew

What to watch on Wednesday, February 25...

SEASON 30 PREMIERE, 8pm, CBS
Survivor
This season's 18 competitors will be divided by occupation into the White Collar, Blue Collar, and No Collar tribes (presumably that last one refers to people who are currently unemployed, as opposed to, say, professional swimmers and Abercrombie greeters). The castaways will face their first crucial choice early on in the 90-minute premiere.

8pm, NBC
The Mysteries of Laura
Laura reunites with an important person from her past—guest star Eric McCormack—when he becomes the prime suspect in the slaying of a former beauty queen in "The Mystery of the Exsanguinated Ex."

8pm, The CW
Arrow
It's Oliver to the rescue (probably... maybe) when Malcolm is nabbed by Ra's al Ghul in "Nanda Parbat." And it's Felicity to the rescue when she fears that Ray's obsession with completing his Atom suit will only spell trouble.

8pm, ABC Family
Melissa & Joey
In "Being There," Joe effects a weekend-long ban on cell phones and computers in order to facilitate more family togetherness. Secretly, that's the exact same reason airlines have a similar policy. All that stuff about delicate instruments and FAA regulations is just a smokescreen. The airlines only want you and your family to be happy, guys.

8pm, ABC
The Middle
Just when you thought the Hecks' Parents of the Year application couldn't get any longer, Frankie realizes that they forgot to celebrate Brick's 13th birthday... three months ago. Meanwhile in "Steaming Pile of Guilt," Sue goes Full Sue in her effort to earn a yearbook superlative, and Devin dumps Axl.

8:30pm, ABC
The Goldbergs
Barry decides to emulate '80s cinema's most famous instance of playing hookey in "Barry Goldberg's Day Off"—complete with a cameo by criminal reprobate Charlie Sheen. Pops and Adam aren't exactly Cameron and Sloane as far as companions go, but sometimes you've gotta play the hand you're dealt.

9pm, ABC
Modern Family
By now you've probably heard about the gimmick of "Connection Lost," an episode filmed entirely using Apple products and/or services. But DID YOU KNOW that amid all the blatant advertising of Apple products and/or services will lie a relatable and heartwarming story about family, togetherness, and the many helpful consumer benefits provided by Apple products and/or services?

9pm, Fox
Empire
In "The Lyon's Roar," Cookie gathers the whole family together to record a legacy album with Lucious, Hakeem, and Jamal. Elsewhere, tension ramps up between Lucious, Cookie, and Anika, while Andre deals with his demons and Jamal shares some big news.

9pm, The CW
The 100
Clarke and Lexa clash as they gear up for battle in "Bodyguard of Lies," while Raven enlists Wick's help in the engineering room. At Mount Weather, time is running short for Bellamy.

9pm, NBC
Law & Order: SVU
In "December Solstice," a famed author (Robert Vaughn) is caught in the middle when his daughters from previous marriages accuse his current wife of abusing him. In other family turmoil, Barbra runs afoul of his grandmother's wishes.

9pm, PBS
NOVA
"Hagia Sophia: Istanbul's Ancient Mystery" explores the architectural masterpiece, a source of spiritual and secular inspiration since its construction in 537. Engineers will examine how the structure has survived since the days of the Byzantine Empire despite sitting on one of the world's most active seismic faults.

SEASON 26 PREMIERE, 9:30pm, CBS
The Amazing Race
The 11 teams in this year's contest are all romantic couples, even though five of the pairs are reportedly meeting for the first time at the race's starting line, so maybe there's a Catfish element here too? Anyway, in the 90-minute premiere, the lovebirds must jet from Castaic Lake, California, to Tokyo for the first leg of the race.

9:30pm, ABC
Black-ish
Dre helps Andre Jr. overcome a school bully in "The Dozens," but has he inadvertently created a monster in the process? Meanwhile, Bow is kept painfully awake when Diane becomes afraid of the dark, possibly after watching one too many episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark?.

SEASON 4 PREMIERE, 10pm, MTV
Catfish
Charlamagne and Nev help a single mother find her online paramour, possibly at the starting line of the new season of The Amazing Race.

10pm, BET
The Game
Jason's plan to court Kelly takes an unexpectedly randy turn in "Sexual Healing." Lust also rears its head during Keira and Malik's movie night. Did Robin Goodfellow crash the set this week or something?

10pm, FX
The Americans
While Elizabeth goes the extra mile in the name of the mission, Philip navigates his many unseemly romances. Elsewhere in "Salang Pass," Stan sees an opportunity to come to Nina's aid.

10pm, USA
Suits
New evidence may torpedo the firm's win over Liberty Rail, sending Harvey and Mike into crisis mode. And the hits just keep on coming in "Intent," as D.A. Wolf's latest fusillade leaves Donna in danger of jail time.

10pm, NBC
Chicago P.D.
Antonio insinuates himself with a gang of thieves to find out what happened to a missing Narcotics officer in "What Puts You on That Ledge." Meanwhile, Roman and Burgess call in Mouch from Chicago Fire to help them handle a squatter.

10pm, VH1
Hindsight
Paige enlists Sean to work with her at a gallery, but it isn't the artwork that most catches his eye. Elsewhere in "The Imaginary Line," Lolly musters the nerve to be honest with Kevin, while Becca contemplates her past.

10pm, ABC
Nashville
Jeff's career and Edgehill Republic both reel from Rayna's broadside in "Somebody Pick Up My Pieces." Experiencing better fortunes are Scarlett and Gunnar, who reconnect over creative commiseration, and Deacon, who may be eligible for an experimental alternative treatment.

10pm, Pop
Schitt's Creek
Johnny and Moira try to bond with their children in "Bad Parents," but neither David nor Alexis is too keen on that plan. David is busy trying to raise some cash, while Alexis is investigating whether Mutt and the mayor's wife are having a tryst.

10pm, FXX
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Mac dons his sleuthing hat when his father is deemed a murder suspect in "Mac Kills His Dad." I can't be positive, but I think this is a direct homage to an Encyclopedia Brown story.

10pm, Comedy Central
Workaholics
Adam and his father (Jack Black) are determined to give Gramps a worthy funeral in "Gramps DeMamp is Dead." Boy, this is a rough week for paternal figures on cable comedies.

10:30pm, Comedy Central
Broad City
In "Citizen Ship," the gang celebrates Jaime officially becoming a U.S. citizen in style. I don't want to give too much away, but it may involve a cruise and something that rhymes with "booze." Wait, I just gave it away, didn't I?
