Hart of Dixie
Wade's decision to remain in town has Zoe over the moon in "Kablang," while George and Lavon vie for Lemon's heart and Brick greets an unexpected guest. Don't get too attached to this timeslot, though, Bluebellians: After this week, the show goes back on hiatus and returns to its regular berth—Fridays at 8pm—on January 9.

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line host this inaugural celebration of country's best-selling stars live from Nashville's Music City Center. Scheduled performers include Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, and Jason Aldean.

2 Broke Girls
In "And the Loan for Christmas," Max and Caroline seek a financing infusion so they can crank out their cupcake tees for sale in ritzy boutiques. Elsewhere, the gang gathers in Chestnut's barn to help Sophie with a holiday decorating contest.

Molly's book deal is endangered by a nasty case of writer's block in "To Have and Withhold." Luckily, I'm completely immune to writer's block myself. Yep, I always know the right thing to… um… to… you know, with the… and like the other… wait, I had something for this.


MINISERIES PREMIERE, 9pm, Syfy
Ascension
A colony ship covertly launched in 1963 reaches the halfway point of its 100-year space voyage, and the inhabitants begin to have doubts about their mission in this miniseries starring Tricia Helfer and Brian Van Holt. "Night One," the first of three parts, finds the suspicious death of a young women raising even more misgivings. (Parts two and three air on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, at 9pm.)


FALL FINALE, 9pm, The CW
Jane the Virgin
Rogelio invites Jane, Xo, and Alba to an awards gala, where Xo meets her idol. Meanwhile, Jane and Rafael discover a skeleton in Petra's closet, and Michael finds a vital clue to his investigation.

Major Crimes
After a gang member is acquitted of murder in "Trial By Fire," Sharon's ex-husband Jack Raydor represents him in a subsequent matter. Elsewhere, Rusty carpes the proverbial diem when the object of his affection visits the station.

Scorpion
'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through a cave / A young boy was stranded and needed a save. The tide it was rising, but he felt no despair / In the hopes that Team Scorpion soon would be there. For a drowning in "Dominoes" would be too detrimental / To air on CBS at 9, 8 Central.

NCIS: Los Angeles
A cybersecurity firm is burgled in "Humbug," but Callen has to sit out the investigation since his girlfriend Joelle is one of the primary witnesses. On the bright side, this sounds like a wonderful opportunity for him to catch up on his scrapbooking.

State of Affairs
In "Ar Rissalah," the convoy attack report leaves President Payton with more than a few questions for Nick Vera… if anybody can find him. And speaking of the convoy attack, Charlie revisits that fateful event through the power of the flashback.

Journey to Planet Earth
Matt Damon hosts "Extreme Realities," an exploration of the threats to peace, prosperity, and security posed by climate change and the resulting severe weather events. Environmentalist Lester Brown, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, and former CIA Director James Woolsey are among those weighing in.
