MasterChef
Judges from all 50 states comprise the panel that will help pare three contestants down to two. In the second hour, the finalists compete to see who will walk away with a book deal, a quarter-million-dollar cash prize, and a big honkin' trophy.

American Ninja Warrior
Five of American Ninja Warrior's finest specimens will compete against rivals from Japan and Europe in the three-hour "U.S.A. vs. the World" edition.

The Roosevelts: An Intimate History
"In the Arena (1901-1910)" chronicles Teddy's presidential administration, during which he ramped up the fight against corporate monopolies, preserved swaths of American wilderness, oversaw the construction of the Panama Canal, brokered an end to the Russo-Japanese War, fought off an invasion of giant killer robots, taught calisthenics to black bears, invented Cheez Whiz, and won the first season of American Ninja Warrior. Meanwhile, Franklin and Eleanor married, and Franklin dipped his toe into the political waters.


DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE, 9pm, HBO
Terror at the Mall
This documentary from Dan Reed, director of HBO's Terror in Mumbai, examines the 2013 terrorist attack launched by Somali militantas on Nairobi's Westgate Mall. The film features previously unseen security footage of the two-day siege, as well interviews with survivors and rescuers.

Dallas
Bobby strives to avert tragedy after a kidnapping in "Boxed In." In less life-and-death matters, John Ross and Pamela forge an uneasy detente, and a revelation about Nicolas sends Elena into a tailspin.

High Moon
Bryan Fuller's adaptation of the novel The Lotus Caves, originally conceived as a pilot, tells the tale of lunar colonists in the year 2068 who discover a new form of life. And before you ask what that new species is, please note this is not Sharknado 3: Shark Side of the Moon.

Under the Dome
Chester's Mill may be squashed by the Dome's newest death trap in "Turn," although it probably won't because you aren't that lucky. In other plotlines I can hardly believe I'm writing actual words about, the fate of the Egg remains a mystery.
