    Wavex successfully completes MBO to support next phase of growth

    Wavex, the multi-award winning IT services and cloud solutions company, has announced the successful completion of a management buyout (MBO) supported by Nat West bank and a group of private investors.

    Wavex, the multi-award winning IT services and cloud solutions company, has announced the successful completion of a management buyout (MBO) supported by Nat West bank and a group of private investors.

    The MBO, led by Wavex founder and CEO, Gavin Russell, provides a solid foundation for the company’s organic and acquisitive growth strategy.

    The Wavex board has also been strengthened with existing members Alex Sloley (finance director) and Mark Williams (client services director) joined by new appointees Paul Sheppard (sales director), Mark Rendall (operations director), Mike Hajialexandrou (non-exec) and Ed Bullard (non-exec).

    CEO Gavin Russell commented, “As the complexity of customer requirements and IT systems increases, we are at a juncture when we need to evolve our business now to support future customer requirements. The new investment, combined with the expertise and experience of our new executive and non-executive team, will allow us to significantly enhance new client acquisitions while continuing to deliver the exemplary customer service levels that Wavex is renowned for and that our existing clients depend upon.”

    The MBO was supported by advisors AHV Associates and law firm Burges Salmon.
