Windows Holographic: During a major Windows 10 event on Wednesday, Microsoft had a huge surprise saved for the very end of its presentation. The Xbox company revealed Windows Holographic, a new augmented reality platform that Microsoft says could be the next major computing platform. Watch the video above to see how it works. Amazing!

Elder Scrolls Online Drops Subscription Requirement: Wednesday also brought us word that Bethesda's online entry in the beloved RPG series is doing away with its mandatory paid subscription. It's not going free-to-play entirely, as you still need to pay a one-time to buy the game just like Guild Wars 2. We also learned that the game will launch June 9 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, also with the new business model.

A new trailer for Bjorn Borg's (yes, the tennis star Bjorn Borg) indie game First-Person Lover parodies Apple's famous keynote addresses, and does it quite well. Check out the trailer above.

Downloadable racing game Trials Fusion now has online multiplayer. A free update released this week introduced the new feature, which supports up to eight players across three multiplayer modes. Publisher Ubisoft also revealed that the game's fourth--and largest--DLC pack to date, called Fire in Deep, will launch on January 27.

Interested in Bandai Namco's free-to-play fighting game Rise of Incarnates? Here's some good news. The publisher announced this week that the game will launch through Steam Early Access on February 4, which is now just two weeks away.

Good news for people looking to pick up Mad Catz's M.O.J.O. micro-console, as the company announced this week that, effective immediately, the device has dropped down to $150.

Following its initial launch for PC about two years ago, Sony Online Entertainment's free-to-play shooter Planetside 2 came to PlayStation 4 this week through a closed beta. If you weren't invited in already, no need to worry, as SOE plans to ramp up the scale of the beta over time. You can sign up for a chance to get in at the Planetside 2 website right now.

Ubisoft released new Assassin's Creed Unity DLC this week int he form of the "Secrets of the Revolution" expansion pack. It feature three new missions, 9 more weapons, and 5 addition pieces of gear. Also, you'll "discover the secrets of the French Revolution." Get it today for $7.

The 12th Annual Games for Change Festival, which aims to "catalyze social impact through digital games," will take place April 21-23 in New York City, organizers announced this week. Keynote presentations will be given by people like filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, Oculus VR chief scientist Michael Abrash, Vlambeer's Rami Ismail, and NYU Game Center director Frank Lantz.

World-famous soccer club Manchester United now has an official games partner. The organization on Tuesday announced a multi-year deal with KamaGames to make the company the "official Social Games partner of the Club." The partnership will see KamaGames release a new line of casino games that will carry the Manchester United branding, logo, imagery, and themes.

Ninja Theory's excellent adventure game Enslaved: Odyssey to the West could never happen in 2015, according to project lead Dominic Matthews. "Games like Enslaved--trying to get a game like that signed now would be impossible," he says in an interview with GamesIndustry.biz. "The way that it was signed, there would be too much pressure for it to be...to have the whole feature set that justifies a $60 price-tag."

In addition, the game is on sale now for Xbox Live Gold members; it's marked down 40 percent, meaning you can pick it up today from the Xbox Games Store for $36.

If you have a Wii U and haven't played Scram Kitty, shame on you! It's a really interesting mix of puzzles and traditional shooting mechanics, plus kittehs! Anyway, if you don't have a Wii U, you still might be in luck, as an enhanced version--called Scram Kitty DX--is coming to PS4 and PS Vita!
