NEW YORK (AP) — Weight Watchers International Inc. announced Tuesday that it has appointed Nicholas Hotchkin as its chief financial officer.
Hotchkin comes to the weight loss company from Staples Inc., where he was senior vice president of finance for the office supply company's U.S. Retail division. Before joining Staples, Hotchkin held several corporate finance positions with auto parts maker Delphi Corp. and automaker General Motors Corp. He'll assume his new role at Weight Watchers on Aug. 20.
The company's former chief financial officer, Ann Sardini, retired in March.
Shares of Weight Watchers fell 3 cents to close at $47.97 and rose 11 cents in after-hours trading.
