Fears of ISIS in Libya: The group has suffered setbacks in Iraq and Syria, but could make gains in Libya, Secretary of State John Kerry said today in Rome. “The last thing in the world you want is a false caliphate with access to billions of dollars of oil revenue,” he said at the meeting of countries that are in the coalition against ISIS.
Jordan at the ‘boiling point’ over refugees: That’s what King Abdullah is telling the BBC in an interview ahead of a donor conference on Syria. Of the nearly 4.5 million registered Syrian refugees, more than 630,000 live in Jordan, representing about 10 percent of the country’s population.
