Werner Enterprises declares dividends

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Trucking and logistics company Werner Enterprises Inc. declared a quarterly cash dividend Tuesday and said it will pay a special cash dividend for the fifth consecutive year.

Werner Enterprises will pay a quarterly dividend of 5 cents on Jan. 22. The dividend will be paid to shareholders of record as of Jan. 7.

The company is returning $109 million, or $1.50 per share, to shareholders through a special dividend payable Dec. 13 to shareholders as of Nov. 29.
