A lot has happened in that 10 year span. The Class of 2005 has gone on to produce some of the most dynamic offensive players the game currently has to offer in Jamaal Charles and DeSean Jackson, as well as one of the most feared defensive linemen the league has to offer in Ndamukong Suh.

Both Charles and Jackson come from football rich states in Texas and California, respectively. Jackson cracked Tom Lemming's Top 10 coming in at No. 9 overall while Charles ranked No. 24 overall in Lemming's list. Both had great success at the next level, though Charles lays claim to the ultimate prize at the collegiate level, winning a BCS National Championship with Texas in 2005. Combined, the two players have accounted for seven Pro Bowl appearances to date.

Suh knows a little something about being underrated. He came in at No. 64 on Lemming's list in 2005, but went on to star at Nebraska before eventually being drafted with the second pick overall in 2010 by the Detroit Lions. Suh has made four trips to the Pro Bowl since being drafted.

A total of four players from the Class of 2005 have won a Super Bowl, each winning with a different team. The Patriots' Brandon LaFell recently reeled in a touchdown in one of the most exciting Super Bowls in recent history. The former Lamar (Houston) and LSU standout was not ranked by Rivals back in 2005.

While we have seen that rankings are largely based on potential and ability to succeed at the college level, it's always interesting to see the talent translated to the NFL.

A total of 125 players landed on Tom Lemming's Top 100 list, Rivals or both.
