Whitecaps to host Toronto in MLS season opener, Montreal plays in Seattle

TORONTO - Two Canadian teams will help kick off the 2013 MLS season on March 2 when the Vancouver Whitecaps host Toronto FC.

In one of five other games that day, the Montreal Impact visit Seattle to play the Sounders for the first time at CenturyLink Field.

The league announced the first three weeks of its 2013 schedule. The remainder will be released later.

In Week 2, Toronto will host Sporting Kansas City on March 9 in a venue to be determined later.

Week 3 sees Toronto visit Montreal for a March 16 game at Olympic Stadium.
