This is why you don’t live in New York City [VIDEO]
This is one reason why you do not want to live in New York City. (Unless, of course, you live in New York City, you poor thing.)
Some person minding their own business and walking down the street — perhaps walking their cute, yet tiny dog because their apartment is too small for a larger one — taped footage of two grown men boxing each other over a parking spot, New York Magazine first reported.
These two dudes both wanted the same parking spot on a lovely (if not for the piles of trash bags) tree-lined, neighborhood street at the same time, and they were willing to duke it out for the spot. Sort of.
When the video starts, the two adult males are already swinging at each other, which goes on for about 30 seconds until they both realized that they were acting like idiots. But it didn’t end there.
The first car prepares to parallel park into the space when the second car races behind to block it. (The best part of the video has not yet occurred.)
The stalemate continues for about 20 seconds when a bright red Porsche lays on its horn for a good 15 seconds before the first car finally parks.
Congrats, guys! Only one of you may have won the parking spot, but you both won in perpetuating the stereotype that most New Yorkers are a bunch of jerks. (In all fairness, this probably happened in Philadelphia five minutes ago.)
