Building on the success of its predecessor, Wind-up Knight 2 leverages the straightforward gameplay found in an on-rails platformer to test your skills in a beautifully rendered medieval setting. One of the main new additions is character customization, which is achieved mainly through in-game currency that you earn while playing.
Pros
Easy to pick up and play: Having just a few buttons to press and no character movement to take care of, Wind-up Knight 2 appeals to laid-back gamers, proving to be easy to learn and enjoy.
Customizable character: In this second iteration of the game, you have the ability to customize the appearance of the main character with items that are bought with currency that you collect as you play.
Tournaments and leaderboards: Seeing and surpassing your friends' high scores will give you an additional motivation to become better.
Cons
Lackluster musical scoring: Unlike the addictive gameplay, we found the music in the app to be repetitive and mediocre.
