Witnesses: Blast and fireball in industrial part of Saudi capital, fuel truck crash suspected
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia - Witnesses in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh say a large explosion and a fireball has heavily damaged part of an industrial area in the city's east.
There was no official word on the cause of the incident on Thursday or any casualties, but witnesses say it appears that a fuel truck blew apart in a possible traffic accident.
The witnesses told The Associated Press that rescue crews were at the scene. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.
