Newts grandiose ego is beginning to affect his brain.

The problem is the US has no future in space or anywhere else as long as we keep cutting education programs. Education is our future and the rest of the world knows it. The countries who are competing with the US, China, Brazil, India, Russia, are all investing big time in education, what are we doing? Cutting education spending, getting rid of Pell grants and anything else that would help us acheive in the future. The extreme right wing, does not see the future in the USA, they'd like to see the US become a two tiered society with a very few on the top and everyone else on the bottom. The Koch Bros, et al, have seen the results of the liberal policies of the 60's, affirmative actions, welfare, free education etc and they don't like the results, they are reminded everytime the President is on TV. They are going to do everything they can to destroy the chance of a Barak Obama being produced again. That's all well and good, but what bothers me is that there are a lot of Americans cheering this distruction of our country. We need to invest heavily in education, #$%$ it should be free from head start to PHD.

One example of how Newt panders to people to get votes... he knows there are a lot of unemployed people near the Kennedy Space Center. He hadn't talked about a moon colony before. For him to want to spend billions on this at a time when we are having a budget crisis, and an economic meltdown is outrageous, and shows a serious lack of judgement.

You know people continue to support the two leading candidates, but even the die hard Republicans have to be asking, what the hell???????? It just keeps getting better and better....lol

Lunar, loony, lunatic! So Newt wants to put a colony on the moon. Then I guess we'd have to send a few thousand troops to defend them, right Newt. After all we know those Chinese commies will go after them.

So what kind of voodoo economics is he going to use to pull this off without using any taxpayer money? The money spent on GM appears to have worked as it is once again the #1 automaker in the world. Our economy would be in a lot better shape if the Republicans had helped and been supportive instead of just being against everything. It's been like taking a cat for a walk.

We need to put Gingrich and Adelson on the moon. They can leave any time but they will need to design their own return rocket.

Here is the sad part about US politics. Until a week ago Gingrich was pretty much dead in the water with zero electoral votes and came in last place out of the 4 candidates in both 1st & 2nd primaries. Then Sheldon Adelson, a dirty Las Vegas Mogul who is under SEC investigation gives Newt an additional $5 Million about 10 days ago. This is chump change for Adelson as he is the 16th richest man in the world and worth $23 Billion (ie this $5 million is 0.02% of his net worth, or like an average person spending $100) and that $5 Million gets Newt to advertise and get to win South Carolina. Now the media and the sheeple follow and they hype the so called "momentum" and then ore sheeple follow. Fortunately people are starting to wake up and not falling for this idiot

We proclaim that we are a democracy yet in reality our government is really an auction for the highest bidder. Even dictators in the 3rd world have to spend more to get or maintain the control of their government. It's the sad reality if we allow Gingrich to be the nominee

And I am ready to bet everything I have that the SEC investigation goes away for Adelson

Maybe Newt wants to be President of the Moon too.
