Wonder Woman Director Michelle MacLaren Leaves Film
In some surprising news this week, it was announced that the director for the upcoming Wonder Woman, Michelle MacLaren, has left the film.
In a recent statement, the studio said “Given creative differences, Warner Bros. and Michelle MacLaren have decided not to move forward with plans to develop and direct ‘Wonder Woman’ together.”
The film is still moving forward and Gal Gadot is still attached to play Wonder Woman, with Jason Fuchs still writing the script. According to Variety, there are four actors testing for the lead male role, Trevor. They are currently in the middle of pre-production and the film is still set, as of this moment, to release on June 23, 2017.
