    World’s Only Regional and Full-Spine Scanner on Display at AAOS

    Visitors to the 2012 conference of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) will have an opportunity to examine the only digital radiography solution capable of both regional and full-spine imaging with a 17”x51” field of use.

    The iDR-L from iCRco uses a receptor large enough to capture the entire anatomy, which reduces scan time and increases patient satisfaction. Its extra large field of use also allows users to replace or supplement their existing RAD room environment by providing the ability to do all anatomy regions, including neck and chest, full-torso, full-leg, and full-spine.

Plus, our proprietary algorithm eliminates the need for image stitching software, creating a full-spine image in one exposure without having to take three separate x-rays. That is a major leap forward for the efficiency of orthopaedic imaging.”

        Houk also points out that with iCRco’s iClarity software, orthopaedic surgeons can achieve Mobile Access to their PACS, Instantly gaining access to their PACS archive via their iPad or iPhone. “iClarity is the answer to today’s need for greater mobility,” said Houk. “Not long ago, the innovation was being able to access PACS from any PC. But now, orthopaedic surgeons have raised the bar and need access from all available sources, including their phones.”
