The video for the online role-playing game was introduced on Thursday during the gamescom 2012 conference in Cologne, Germany. The game's debut, which is fourth in the series, is set for Sept. 25.

"You've ended Deathwing's destructive rampage and saved the dragonflights from extinction," it teases on Blizzard Entertainment's website. "Now you must unlock the mysteries of the lost continent and discover the dark secrets of Pandaria's past. Explore ancient kingdoms hidden since before the Sundering, plunder vast treasures from the depths of the forgotten vaults, and rise to defend Pandaria from the shadow of a long buried evil -- before it's too late."

Sneak-preview screenshots of the game -- which is available for pre-purchase now -- have also been posted online. For a full look, check out the gallery below.

The previews comes just days after reports that the game's developer Activision Blizzard was hacked. A hacker penetrated its systems to steal the contact information of many its users as well as a password file.

A message on the company's website noted that the passwords were encrypted, so it would be extremely difficult for hackers to gain access to them. Even if they tried, they would have to attempt to decipher the passwords one by one. As a precaution, Blizzard urged users to change their passwords immediately.
