    WRIS Web Services Earns Google AdWords Certified Partner Distinction

    Cleveland-based search engine optimization and online advertising firm WRIS Web Services has just received word that its bid for Google AdWords Certified Partner status has been approved. The title recognizes that the company possesses advanced capabilities in managing AdWords campaigns. First, the company must “have managed at least a $10,000 spend [in AdWords’ pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, cost-per-thousand (CPM) advertising, and site-targeted text, banner and media-rich advertising over 90 days.” Second, a certified partner must “have at least one individually qualified employee.” That individual must further demonstrate advanced proficiency in AdWords by passing both the Fundamentals exam and one of Google’s three advanced exams: Search Advertising, Display Advertising or Reporting & Analysis.

    Status as a Google Certified AdWords Partner affords WRIS Web Services the opportunity to display a certification badge on its website. The designation further ranks WRIS among an elite group of online marketing professionals, agencies and other individuals (e.g., search engine marketers (SEMs), search engine optimizers (SEOs) and marketing consultants) who exhibit advanced capabilities and expertise in managing AdWords campaigns.
