WWE Superstar Suspended for Grabbing Vince McMahon’s Arm (Report)

WWE superstar Titus O’Neil has been sent home reportedly over a physical exchange with WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon on “Monday Night Raw.”

During the retirement celebration for former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, O’Neil appeared to grab McMahon’s arm as the company’s chairman was exiting the stage behind Bryan. McMahon then shoved O’Neil away, netting O’Neil a three-month suspension, according to PW Insider.

The incident made it into the final moments of Monday’s broadcast, which a few eagle-eyed fans were able to capture (see below).

While WWE did not return TheWrap’s request for comment concerning the reason for O’Neil’s suspension, it’s interesting to note that the company briefly removed the video of Bryan exiting and edited out the moment between McMahon and O’Neil, reposting it on Wednesday.

O’Neil is a former WWE tag team champion, a title won with Darren Young when the two competed as the Prime Time Players. In 2015, he won the Celebrity Dad of the Year award for his community service efforts, beating out others like Stephen Amell, Ashton Kutcher, and Vin Diesel.
