The X Factor Confirms 2015 Judges’ Categories
After passing the vote over the public for the first time in X Factor history, this year’s judges’ categories have been announced - and a certain Simon Cowell isn’t exactly thrilled with the result.

Yep, you’ve voted to give newbies Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora the Boys and Girls categories, while gifting Cheryl Fernandez-Versini with the Groups for the first time.
Meanwhile, despite his not-so-subtle Twitter hints that he’d love to mentor the Girls or the Groups, you guys have actually decided that since he did SUCH a good job with the Overs last year, he could have that category again.
Something he’s not that thrilled about.

Taking to Twitter after the announcement was made, he wrote: “Wasn’t the category I was expecting. I did win last year with the Overs so I’m sure we will do great things this year.”
He did, of course, win with Ben Haenow in the Overs category last year.
The other judges are pretty chuffed with their categories though, with Chezza tweeting: “I GOT THE GROUPSSSSS!!! I am so excited !!
“Thank you so much for everyone that helped me and voted !! I am ready to rolllll !!”
Despite also seemingly campaigning for the Girls category on his social media, Grimmy seems pretty happy with the Boys, writing: “Woah 6 chair challenge was INTENSE tonight. My turn tomorrow with the boys - we have some stars in that category.”
Ahhh, the dreaded six chair challenge. The challenge that we genuinely have to watch through our fingers because it’s TOO MUCH.
