Xbox One Gamers Stream 10 Million Minutes of 'Titanfall'

Xbox One gamers love playing "Titanfall," and they love showing it off to their friends even more. Since the March launch of Twitch live-streaming on Xbox One, fans of the mech-infused first-person shooter have broadcast 10 million minutes worth of their own wall-running, pistol-blasting and robot face-punching.

When "Titanfall" and Xbox One Twitch streaming made their simultaneous debut on Mar. 11, 30 percent of Twitch's broadcasters were coming from Microsoft's new console. According to Twitch, 108,000 unique users broadcast from the Xbox One in the game's first week.

"People go to Hulu to watch TV, Netflix to watch movies, and now they go to Twitch to watch and broadcast video games," said Twitch COO Kevin Lin.

The Xbox One Twitch app has been available since the system's November 2013 launch, but it previously only allowed users to watch broadcasts. The app is now seamlessly integrated into the Xbox One's user interface, and you can begin streaming any of your gameplay sessions by simply speaking the "Xbox, Broadcast" voice command to your console's Kinect.

You're probably going to continue to see lots of "Titanfall" on Twitch for at least the next few months. The popular shooter is set to get a mix of free and paid downloadable content, though release dates have yet to be announced.
