XSLT Platform Change, Feature Enhancements, and Customer Service Drive Accomplishment

OmniUpdate, Inc., the leading web content management system (CMS) provider for higher education, has announced 2010 as another record year of sales. The company doubled the number of new clients added in 2009, indicating that investment in software-as-a-service (SaaS) technology is growing despite economic uncertainties.

The company's web CMS product, OU Campus, moved to the Saxon (XSLT 2.0) platform in May with the release of OU Campus version 9, significantly increasing speed and efficiency, and paving the way for more than 40 new feature enhancements and additions. Two extremely popular additions included Social Media Publish and Asset Manager, which will continue to be enhanced throughout 2011. Other new features included Snippets, W3C Validation, Final Check, Image Thumbnails, Auto Draft, Save-in-Place, Database Abstraction, and Auxiliary Sites.

OmniUpdate continued to focus on customer service and was ranked highest in customer satisfaction in a 2010 .eduGuru higher education CMS satisfaction survey (http://doteduguru.com/cms-survey-2010 (http://ctt.marketwire.com/?release706044&id45631&type1&urlhttp%3a%2f%2fdoteduguru.com%2fcms-survey-2010) ). OU Campus CMS users were instrumental in spreading this good news to their peers at other institutions, which helped boost company sales.
