New York City Marathon Organizers Have Called a Press Conference
Despite backlash from New Yorkers and elected officials, New York City marathon officials defended their decision to go on with the race earlier today. But those same organizers have now announced a press conference which is set to start any minute. The New York Road Runners gave a 5 p.m. start time, but it's yet to begin. Is a cancellation or postponement brewing? According to Crain's the conference doesn't seem to be televised, but we'll have the news from it as soon as it comes out.
