The Jets were controlled by the Steelers, 19-6, at home.
Geno Smith completed 19 of 34 passes for 201 yards and two picks with no touchdowns. Ben Roethlisberger put up better numbers for the Steelers, and ended up going 23 of 30 with 264 yards through the air, one touchdown and no interceptions.
Mike Goodson ran for 29 yards on four carries in addition to one reception for 10 yards. Jeff Cumberland snagged four passes for 59 yards.
The New York defense gave up 73 yards rushing and 255 passing. They roughed up Roethlisberger with four sacks.
Steelers tight end Heath Miller was impressive, churning out 84 receiving yards. Wide receiver Antonio Brown was also solid with 86 receiving yards.
Next week, the Jets host the Patriots (5-1) while the Steelers take on the Ravens (3-3), also at home.
