YouTube’s Fine Brothers Entertainment Creates TV Division

Fine Brothers Entertainment, whose multiple YouTube channels top 15 million subscribers, has formed a TV unit headed by Brandie Tucker, a former producer for CBS’s “Big Brother,” Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen” and other shows.

Tucker, as VP of alternative television for Fine Brothers Entertainment, will be responsible for developing FBE’s nonscripted TV business and overseeing current productions.

“Alternative television has become a very active area for us and we’re fortunate to have someone with Brandie’s experience and background join us to help shepherd that part of our business,” FBE principal Benny Fine said in a statement.

Tucker, in addition to her work on “Big Brother” and “Hell’s Kitchen,” has been a producer on shows including MTV’s “Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory”; Fox’s “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”; NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here!”; TV One’s “R&B Divas”; and MTV’s upcoming “Epic Win!” She began her career at Endemol USA.

Benny and Rafi Fine, brothers who hail from Brooklyn, began posting videos on YouTube in 2007. They achieved massive popularity on YouTube with their show “React,” in which people — ranging from kids to elders — are shown literally reacting to viral videos.

The duo have already made forays into TV. Viacom’s Nickelodeon recently aired the 13-episode “ReactToThat” series, produced in partnership with Nick Cannon and his production company, Ncredible Entertainment. The Burbank, Calif.-based company also has a development deal with AMC Networks’ SundanceTV to produce a weekly pop-culture and current events show, in a panel-discussion format, focusing on some of the most viral videos of the week. The company says it has additional TV projects in the pipeline, including a hybrid sketch-reality show in partnership with producer Marc Summers.

On YouTube, the Fine Bros.’s shows included “React,” “Emo Dad,” “Spoilers” and “MyMusic.”

Benny and Rafi Fine are managed by Max Benator and repped by WME.
