Yus Jambu from "Raja Lawak" dies at 39

Champion of "Raja Lawak" season 1, Yus Jambu passed away at the age of 39 due to heart attack.

Malaysian comedian and actor Yussry Edoo, or better known by as Yus Jambu from "Raja Lawak", passed away this morning at the age of 39.

Also known as Pak Yus, the entertainer is believed to have suffered from a heart attack and passed away in Selayang hospital after having difficulties in breathing.

Yus had performed in the Raja Band Programme on the night of 29 November at Dataran Merdeka.

"Pak Yus had performed with his band Lima Bara as a guest artist. After performing three songs, he returned home at 11.30pm," said the general manager of Malaysia Karyawan Association as quoted by News Strait Times.

"About half an hour later, Pak Yus' aid called and informed that he was rushed to the hospital and had passed away," he added.

Yus Jambu will be laid to rest at his hometown in Kangar, Perlis today.
