Today at Super Bowl 50, quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Cam Newton will lead their teams, the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers, into battle. Who will be victorious? You could come up with a number of reasons as to why each will prevail. It is as difficult a choice as deciding who would win in a fight between The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel.

Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder makes that comparison in a recent tweet. "Cam 'Jor-El' Newton = Superman. Peyton 'Bat' Manning = Batman," Snyder wrote, along with the hashtag "#WhoWillWin."

By the way, before you leap on Snyder for using "Jor-El" -- the name of Superman's biological father -- instead of Kal-El -- Superman's Kryptonian name -- know that was intentional. That's because Cam's middle name is Jerrell.

In Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens March 25, 2016.
