Usher walked the Met Gala red carpet in a dramatic cape, but his $5 million watch stole the show

  • Usher made an appearance at the 2024 Met Gala on Monday.

  • He walked the red carpet in an Alexander McQueen suit and cape adorned with roses.

  • The musician also wore a ruby-encrusted watch valued at $5 million.

This year, the Met Gala red carpet was full of innovative fashion, glamorous gowns, and sharp suits.

But did you notice Usher's multimillion-dollar watch?

When the musician arrived on the red carpet in a sparkling Alexander McQueen suit and cape, you could only see his leather hat, the red rose he carried, and his assortment of pink rings.

But tucked beneath his sleeve was a vibrant pink watch from Jacob & Co.

The massive timepiece, called the Ruby Billionaire III, is made from 18-carat white gold, sapphire glass, and 714 rubies. According to a press release from the brand, it's worth $5 million.

The bracelet perfectly matched his rings, also from Jacob and Co., and added another pop of color to his edgy outfit.

Of course, he wasn't the only star to wear standout jewelry at this year's Met Gala.

Though considerably less expensive than Usher's watch, Brooklyn Beckham donned a $33,805 Piaget piece on his wrist, and Matt Damon sported a $43,400 timepiece from the same brand.

And that's not to mention the necklaces, rings, earrings, and other pieces worn by celebrities.

Pamela Anderson wore 200 carats of lab-grown diamonds from Pandora, and Indian billionaire Sudha Reddy paired her sparkling outfit with a $10 million necklace.
