Bison charges at hiker in harrowing footage: 'Oh my god, oh my god!'

A bison attacked a hiker who lived to post the TikTok about it.

TikToker Rebecca Clark posted the video to “support safety while enjoying Texas State Parks.” While encountering a group of bison at Caprock Canyons State Park and Trailway in Texas, Clark wandered too close. A bison then “charged” at her during the solo hike.

Watch this Brooklyn bedroom go from drab to fabulous in one day:

In the clip, Clark came across a trio of bison crossing the trail. She waited until they crossed, then kept walking. But when she thought she was in the clear, a bison charged at her.

You can hear her screaming, “Oh oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!” The video was chilling.

Clark explained in an update that the bison rammed her back and pushed her into a mesquite bush. She remained on the ground for 50 minutes before help arrived.

Due to limited phone service, she couldn’t call 911 and texted family and friends instead. A helicopter flew her to United Regional Healthcare Hospital in Wichita Falls. Despite the gruesome incident, she’s recovering well.

Clark called the bison “beautiful creatures” protected by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The bison herd was restored to a part of its former range in the park as part of the Texas State Bison Restoration Project.

Texas Parks and Wildlife recommend that humans stay at least 50 yards away from bison, the largest land animal in North America.

See this bedroom turn into a vibrant oasis after an incredible one-day renovation:
