The officers then contacted the driver of the vehicle who confirmed she did not have a disabled placard. The driver was a 31-year-old San Francisco resident. According to police, the driver had a suspended driver’s license. Another woman approached the vehicle indicating she associated with the car.

Despite the second woman having a valid driver’s license, she had an out-of-county misdemeanor warrant for her arrest. The 42-year-old woman was arrested for the warrant. Police said the woman disclosed she had stolen merchandise from an East Bay business in the car. The merchandise was recovered.

The 31-year-old woman was issued a citation for disabled parking violation and expired registration, police said. Police said both women were released from the scene. The woman with the warrant was given a new court date.
