1 arrested, half a pound of meth, $6,700 in cash seized during drug sale arrest

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One woman is under arrest after District Attorney investigators served a search warrant in northwest Bakersfield Thursday.

Investigators with the help of a K-9 officer, served a search warrant in the 300 block of Cornell Street, just east of Haley Street, where officials seized multiple narcotics and cash, the D.A.’s Office said in a news release.

Officials seized half a pound of methamphetamine, $6,700 cash, around 100 packs of synthetic narcotics, fentanyl pills, and other signs of narcotics sales.

A 55-year-old woman was arrested for drug sales-related charges.

By targeting drug distributors, we’re not only cracking down on drug use, but also taking a proactive approach in the prevention of violent drug-related crimes.
