Authorities release name of man killed in Iowa wreck during windstorm

One person is dead after strong storms moved through Iowa on Wednesday.

The driver of a semitruck traveling on US Highway 151 in Benton County lost control of the vehicle after being struck by a high gust of wind at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The semi rolled over onto its side and came to rest in a ditch, according to a traffic report from the Iowa State Patrol.

The driver, Brian Jensen, 58, of Council Bluffs, was killed in the accident, which remains under investigation.
