1 hit, killed in parking lot of Dance & Gymnastics Academy of Tampa, driver sought

A homicide investigation is underway after a hit-and-run in Land O’ Lakes on Monday, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of an SUV struck and killed an adult in the parking lot of Dance & Gymnastics Academy of Tampa, located at 23633 Venezia Drive, then fled, the agency said in a news release.

The SUV is described as a newer-model black Jeep Wrangler. Anyone who has information about the driver or the incident is asked to call the Pasco Sheriff’s Office at 800-706-2488, or submit a tip online by visiting https://www.pascosheriff.com/tips/.
